How He Can Help You

Don assists new Cornerstone advisors by facilitating the firm’s Back to Business program. He works with advisors after the first 90 days of the initial transition period to help them get back to running an efficient practice. This includes determining the best technologies, services, and practices for managing their business the way they want, while also keeping their desired growth and career objectives in mind.

What Makes Him Knowledgeable

Don is a graduate of the University of Missouri – St Louis. After graduation, he began a career in law enforcement and received several commendations for service, including the Creve Coeur Fire Protection District Meritorious Service Award for Outstanding Service Rendered Above and Beyond the Call of Duty.

From 2000 to 2008, Don worked as a financial advisor for Edward Jones and Wachovia Securities (Wells Fargo Advisors). In 2009, Don moved his practice to Cornerstone Wealth Management, choosing to be an independent advisor.

Having gone through several transitions himself, he knows the importance of setting up efficiencies in your business and understanding all investment options to best serve your clients.

Getting to Know Him

Active in several charitable and community efforts, Don is a stalwart member of Church on the Rock, where he leads their local motorcycle ministry through the Christian Motorcyclists Association. Don also teaches step studies at his church and helps out when and where needed.

Don has one wonderful son, Donald III, who is married to Hallie. They live in Kansas City, where they are raising Don’s beloved grandson, Jonas. Don's wife Angela has three children of her own — Jeffrey, Luke, and Elijah. He loves spending time with both families. In his free time, Don enjoys riding motorcycles with Angela, golfing, fishing, and attending all kinds of sporting events.
