For advisor Bill Flowers, CFP®, watching the logo of his newly formed business go up on the office he had just opened was a day he won't soon forget. Founding Arrow Wealth Planning was something he had considered for many years, and seeing it come to life marked one of the proudest moments of his career.

 

Bill joined Cornerstone Wealth Management and LPL Financial in late 2023 and has enjoyed exploring all that’s available to him as an independent advisor. “It's exciting to build a business and have the freedom to do it in many different ways,” he says.

 

Energized by the ever-evolving nature of the industry, Bill knows that the products, services and technologies used today will continue to adapt to meet the needs of tomorrow's clients. Having come from a large firm as a W-2 employee, he appreciates being part of a firm that encourages innovation and allows him to shape a client experience that stays relevant.


Through his affiliation with Cornerstone, Bill takes advantage of the latest technology available to independent advisors at LPL Financial. He’s already implemented several tools that streamline operations, giving him more time for client conversations — something he considers the key to a successful practice.

At Arrow Wealth Planning, Bill has built a proactive client contact strategy and clear segmentation model so clients know what to expect when working with him. “My entire business changed when I learned how to simplify my process and communicate that to clients,” Bill explains. His goal is to create a service experience clients value and trust, with consistency that keeps them engaged, responsive and often willing to refer.

Bill appreciates being part of a collaborative advisor community that shares best practices and technologies to enhance the client experience. “I’m always happy to hear or share an idea," he says. "As the great Ted Lasso says, ‘I won't bring an umbrella to a brainstorm.'"
